COURS DE TOURNAGE

Les cours de poterie pour tous les niveaux ont lieu dans mon atelier à Lion-sur-Mer. L'atelier est situé à l'arrière de ma maison et a été converti à partir d'une petite grange.
Ces cours particuliers durent 2 heures, ce qui vous permet d'avoir vraiment le temps de progresser dans votre travail. Dans l'atelier, nous travaillons le grès, une argile normande de haute qualité et durable. Après une démonstration sur le tour, il sera temps d'expérimenter par vous-même ! Les gestes du tournage sont difficiles à maîtriser en une seule séance mais l'important est avant tout de s'amuser et de se familiariser avec le tour. Nous vous montrerons comment centrer la terre et la modeler pour former un bol ou un cylindre. A la fin du cours, vous pourrez faire la demande de cuisson de biscuit, et réserver un autre cours pour le cours de décoration d’emaux afin de terminer votre travail.
L'objectif de mes cours est de vous faire partager ma passion pour la céramique, dans un moment de détente et de plaisir où chacun peut exprimer sa sensibilité et sa créativité dans un grand respect mutuel.

Wheel turning COURSE

Pottery classes for all levels are held in my studio in Lion-sur-Mer. The studio is located at the back of my house and was converted from a small barn.
These private lessons last 2 hours, which allows you to really have time to progress in your work. In the studio, we work with stoneware, a high quality and durable Norman clay. After a demonstration on the wheel, it will be time to experiment for yourself! The throwing motions are difficult to master in one session, but the important thing is to have fun and become familiar with the wheel. We will show you how to center the clay and shape it into a bowl or cylinder. At the end of the class, you will be able to request a bisque firing, and book another class for the glazing class to finish of your work.
The objective of my classes is to share with you my passion for ceramics, in a moment of relaxation and pleasure where everyone can express their sensitivity and creativity in a great mutual respect.
